Our final task for our advertising unit is looking at ‘culture jamming’.
Culture jamming is a tactic used to disrupt or subvert the message of mainstream advertising. Common tactics include re-figuring logos, fashion statements, and product images as a means to challenge the idea of “what’s cool” along with assumptions about the personal freedoms of consumption
Here are some examples of ‘busted’ advertisments.
You may use Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Photoshop or an application of your choice to complete your busted ad.
